Wallets and accounts
Wallets represent balances you track, such as cash, banks, digital wallets, credit cards, savings, investments, or custom accounts.

Start
A good setup means your day-to-day entries take less time and your summaries make sense later.
A profile keeps your wallets, categories, budgets, goals, debts, and settings together. Use separate profiles when you want fully separate sets of data.
Create wallets for cash, banks, cards, e-wallets, savings accounts, or any place where money lives. Set each wallet currency and starting balance.
Add an expense, income, or transfer. Pick the wallet, category, date, amount, and optional notes, tags, or receipt images.
Sign in with Google or Apple in the mobile app to sync your profile. The same login can load your latest data in Tarsi Web.
Use Home, Wallet, History, Budgets, Goals, Debts, Owed to You, and Statistics to understand where money went and what needs attention next.
Concepts
These are the main objects Tarsi uses to organize your financial life.
Wallets represent balances you track, such as cash, banks, digital wallets, credit cards, savings, investments, or custom accounts.
Expenses reduce a wallet, income adds money, and transfers move money between wallets without counting as spending or income.
Categories answer what the money was for. Tags add flexible context across categories, such as trip names, projects, people, or events.
Budgets help cap spending for a category, group, or period. Tarsi can compare actual spending against what you planned.
Goals track money you are saving toward something. Contributions move progress forward while keeping the target visible.
Debts track money you owe. Owed to You tracks money someone else owes you, including collections and receipt-style summaries.
Daily use
Tarsi is most useful when everyday entries are quick, clear, and easy to adjust later.
Choose the wallet that paid, enter the amount, set the date, pick a category, and add notes or tags when helpful.
Record salary, allowance, refunds, gifts, reimbursements, or any inflow. Income can be reviewed separately from spending.
Move money from one wallet to another for bank transfers, cash withdrawals, card payments, or e-wallet top-ups.
Open a transaction from History or a wallet view to update the amount, category, note, date, wallet, or tags.
Short entries like '120 lunch', '+2500 freelance', or '5k transfer BDO to GCash' can be turned into draft transactions.
Planning
Use planning tools to look ahead instead of only reviewing what already happened.
Set fixed or income-based budget amounts for recurring spending areas like food, transport, shopping, utilities, or subscriptions.
Recurring expenses and income help Tarsi show what is coming soon, including subscriptions, bills, salary, and regular payments.
Create a goal, set the target amount, then add contributions when you save. Use goals for emergency funds, travel, devices, or projects.
Track purchases paid over time so the full plan, paid amount, remaining amount, and upcoming payments stay visible.
Record borrowed money, lent money, advances, payments, and collections so balances stay clear for each person or account.
Review
Use Tarsi's review screens to spot patterns, audit balances, and decide what to do next.
Home summarizes balances, recent activity, upcoming items, budget status, goals, debts, and shortcuts to common tasks.
Wallet shows each account balance and account activity so you can check where money currently sits.
History keeps the transaction list searchable and filterable by date, type, category, wallet, and other details.
Statistics and charts help compare spending, income, categories, cashflow, and changes over time.
Forecasting combines current balances with upcoming recurring items to estimate what your money may look like ahead.
Cloud and Web
Tarsi Cloud keeps your profile available across devices. Tarsi Web gives you a wider desktop view of that same profile.
Use Google or Apple sign-in from the mobile app, then enable profile sync for the profile you want available in the cloud.
Go to app.tarsi.cloud on a desktop browser. Sign in with the same Google or Apple account used in Tarsi mobile.
Tarsi Web loads the latest cloud profile automatically when a synced profile is found for your account.
Use the desktop dashboard to review balances, history, budgets, goals, debts, receivables, statistics, and quick transaction entries.
Cloud-backed changes sync back to Tarsi Cloud. Signing out clears the cloud session on the web app and returns to the login screen.
Backup and import
Backups are useful for review, migration, troubleshooting, and keeping a copy outside the app.
Use the app's export or backup options to create a JSON or CSV file. JSON keeps the richest Tarsi structure.
On the web app, choose a JSON or CSV export to open it locally in your browser without needing cloud login.
Backups can include financial details. Only share exports with people or services you trust.
If you make changes in a local imported session on web, export the updated JSON so you keep those changes.
Settings and safety
Settings let you tune the app to the way you track money and the level of protection you want.
Choose your preferred currency and configure wallet-level currencies when you track money across different currencies.
Rename profiles, review sync options, manage backups, and keep separate financial contexts apart.
Group accounts when you want cleaner wallet organization, such as cash, banks, cards, savings, or shared balances.
Enable device-level protection such as Face ID where available, and be careful when exporting or sharing backup files.
